Questions,
answered plainly.
Anything not covered here, write to sales@brudcast.com and a person will answer.
Which channels can I actually send on today?
Email, SMS and WhatsApp. Push composes in the campaign builder and registers devices against your contacts today, and delivery ships next. We will not bill you for a channel that does not deliver.
Can I use it for just email?
Yes. Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push and mailbox hosting are separate products. Take the ones you need and add the rest later.
Do I need my own domain?
Not to start. A sending address is issued at signup so you can send immediately. To send under your own name you add a domain you own and verify it with SPF, DKIM and DMARC records we generate for you.
Can I move my existing contacts and templates?
Yes. Connect your current provider and Brudcast previews exactly what will move before it writes anything. Custom fields, lists, suppressions, contacts, templates, sending domains and sender identities come across, and your provider’s merge tag syntax is translated so imported templates still render.
How does SMS and WhatsApp billing work?
Those channels run on a credit wallet. You top up, and each message draws down against it. The ledger shows every debit and hold, and auto top up can refill at a threshold you set, with a daily cap so a runaway send cannot drain a card.
Can I send from my own application?
Yes. Every account has a REST API, SMTP credentials and webhooks. API keys are scoped, rate limited, expiring, and can be restricted to specific IP addresses, with a request log per key.
Is there an unsubscribe and suppression system?
Yes, and it is not per channel. Unsubscribes, bounces and complaints are held against the contact, with the reason and source recorded, and every send respects them.
